Bade’e Al Oud Honor and Glory — the pineapple crème brûlée

Lattafa Badee Al Oud Honor and Glory is the sweet one, and for a lot of people it’s the gateway into the whole collection. Candied pineapple and creamy crème brûlée open it up, cinnamon, turmeric and black pepper stop it turning into a sugar bomb, and vanilla, sandalwood, cashmeran and moss carry the dry-down.

It’s the most immediately likeable bottle in the range and the one most likely to earn unprompted compliments. If you’re buying for someone else and don’t know their taste, this is the safest of the four.

Bade’e Al Oud Oud for Glory — the famous one

Oud for Glory in the black-and-gold bottle is the fragrance that built Lattafa’s global reputation, and it remains the most recommended alternative to Initio Oud for Greatness. Saffron, lavender and nutmeg open sharp and sophisticated; agarwood and patchouli build a smoky heart; oud, patchouli and musk anchor a trail that survives on a wool jacket for days.

Bade’e Al Oud Sublime — the one with no oud in it

Worth being straight about this: despite the name, Sublime contains no actual oud. Crisp apple and litchi open over a dewy rose, plum and jasmine deepen the middle, and moss, vanilla and patchouli ground it.

It’s the outlier of the collection — bright, flirty and spring-summer coded, and widely picked up as an affordable alternative to Kayali Eden Sparkling Lychee | 39.

  Honor vs Honour. Lattafa’s bottle uses the American spelling Honor, but UK shoppers naturally type Honour. You’ll see Lattafa Honour and Glory, Honour and Glory Lattafa and Bade’e Al Oud Honour & Glory used interchangeably. They are all the same 100ml Eau de Parfum.

  Badee vs Bade’e. The Arabic بديع is transliterated both ways. Bade’e Al Oud is Lattafa’s official styling; Badee Al Oud is the common simplified version. Same collection either way.
