Dukhan is Arabic for smoke, and that is the whole idea. Released in 2025, it is the third bottle in the Khamrah line after the original Khamrah and Khamrah Qahwa. It keeps the praline-and-tonka warmth of the family but swaps some of the sweetness for smoked spice and resin.
What it smells like
Based on the published note list, it opens with pimento and smoked spices. The heart is incense and labdanum, a dark, resinous stage that gives it a bakhoor-like feel. The base is tobacco, amber and praline. If the original Khamrah is a warm dessert, Dukhan is what is left in the room after the fire has been lit.
How it differs from Khamrah and Qahwa
- Khamrah leads with cinnamon, nutmeg and dates over vanilla and tonka. It is the sweetest and most crowd-pleasing of the three.
- Khamrah Qahwa moves towards cardamom, coffee and candied fruit. It is warm but still clearly gourmand.
- Khamrah Dukhan is the smokiest and least sugary, and the only one of the three that leans masculine. In practice it still reads as unisex.

Who it suits
Choose Dukhan if you like incense, tobacco or leathery ambers, or if the original Khamrah is a little too sweet for you. It is a good first step into smoky fragrances for anyone who already enjoys gourmands.
Skip it if you want something fresh, clean or light. If you dislike smoke or resin, try Khamrah Qahwa instead. If you want the Khamrah character in warmer weather, look at Khamrah Waha.
