The opening is pure joy — a burst of juicy, candied pineapple wrapped in creamy crème brûlée . It’s sweet and mouth-watering, but a clever thread of cinnamon , turmeric and black pepper stops it becoming a sugar bomb, adding warmth and a grown-up spice.
