Rave Now (the original)
Crisp apple, pineapple and tart blackcurrant open it, moving into dry birch, jasmine, patchouli and rose, and settling on ambergris, musk, oakmoss and vanilla. Bright, modern and sporty rather than sweet — the fruit is the whole point.
Rave Now White — the soft one
Bergamot and mandarin open clean and zesty, jasmine and rose take the middle, and it dries down to vanilla, musk and amber. Unisex with a slight feminine lean, and at this price one of the easiest bottles in the whole Lattafa range to recommend blind.
Rave Now Women — not a flanker, a different fragrance
Despite the name suggesting a feminine version of the original, this is a separate rose-jasmine-oud floral: bergamot and lemon up top, a powdery rose, jasmine and orris heart, and a warm oud, sandalwood, patchouli, amber and musk base. Elegant and a little smoky rather than fruity.
